was 12 when I first got up on stage in front of a big crowd. I was very
excited, I remember I didn't want to come down, the feeling of the people
screaming after you perform is the best feeling in the world. That's when I
realized this was all I wanted to do.
Born and raised in New York City, Marlyn grew up with the values of her
Dominican ethnicity. At the early age of 11 she began her journey with a
scholarship to "Urban Youth Theatre" in musical theater off Broadway.
Discovering her talents and passion for the arts between theater and her
church choir, Marlyn knew music was her calling.
